King endorses ethnic profiling - Newsday.com

King endorses ethnic profiling - Newsday.com: "Declaring that airport screeners shouldn't be hampered by 'political correctness,' House Homeland Security Chairman Peter King has endorsed requiring people of 'Middle Eastern and South Asian' descent to undergo additional security checks because of their ethnicity and religion."

Has King ever met a Muslim? Does he not realize that Muslims are not the same color, ethnic background, or even from the Middle East? There are Muslims in Bosnia, Philippines, Africa, etc. Some are blond and blue-eyed. So how to we pick them out? Oh, maybe they can wear a red crescent instead of a star of David?

65 Pregnant Students = End to Abstinence-Only Education

Truthdig - Ear to the Ground - 65 Pregnant Students = End to Abstinence-Only Education: "An Ohio school board voted to allow discussion of contraception in sex education classes upon learning that 13% of one high schools female students were pregnant. "

Ya think learning about contraception might be a good idea? LOL, we have been saying this for how long? Glad somebody woke up.

W.House denies bin Laden hunt downgraded - Yahoo! News

Look! More bullshit from the spinmeisters in DC! Let'see, BS, terror alerts, Bush vacation, wait for the shoe to drop, 'cause it will, it's not Nov. yet. Bunch of idiots! Surely at some point people will wake up and see how duped they are? Dear God, I hope so. W.House denies bin Laden hunt downgraded - Yahoo! News: "The White House denied on Wednesday that the U.S. hunt for Osama bin Laden has been downgraded after the CIA disbanded a unit set up in the 1990s to oversee the search for the al Qaeda leader.

Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid of Nevada had cited the disbanding of the CIA unit as an example of what he called misplaced priorities in the Bush administration.
Democrats are trying to raise questions about President George W. Bush's national security policies in a bid to overturn Republican control of the U.S. Congress in November elections.
White House spokesman Tony Snow opened his daily briefing with a statement addressing Reid's charges, saying the CIA had reshaped the unit to deal with a more diffuse threat from al Qaeda.
'But the notion that the president has shut down a program designed to capture Osama bin Laden is utterly without foundation. It was a reorganization, not a reduction in effort and commitment,' Snow said."

Judge nixes warrantless surveillance - Yahoo! News

Yeah, Bush and Co. there's this little document called the constitution...we, the people, agree that it must be upheld.
Judge nixes warrantless surveillance - Yahoo! News: "A federal judge on Thursday struck down President Bush's warrantless surveillance program, saying it violated the rights to free speech and privacy, as well as the separation of powers enshrined in the Constitution. "

9/11 Press for Truth

9/11 Press for Truth A documentary on THE definitive timeline for 9/11. Watch the trailer and then watch for the movie to come to a theater near us.

Boerne Market Days....we're baaaccck!

It was hot, hot and hotter, but we manned our booth and met a lot of democrats who signed John Courage's petition. Since the re-re-districting, John is now our candidate for Congress, running against Lamar Smith. He has to get the required number of signatures -- again -- to get on the ballot, so we collected signatures and handed out literature. As my friends at The Kendallian noted, nobody came up and said anything nice about Bush, as they did during the last election. Ya think everybody is starting to figure it out?

CNN.com - Chertoff: Nosign plotters targeted U.S. - Aug 13, 2006

The Bush administration--the boys who cried wolf--eventually nobody will believe them.
CNN.com - Chertoff: Nosign plotters targeted U.S. - Aug 13, 2006: "WASHINGTON (CNN) -- 'Current evidence' does not show the people involved in an alleged plot to blow up airplanes planned to conduct any operations in the United States, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff said Sunday.
'The current evidence does not show any plotting occurring inside the United States or any plan to conduct operations within the United States,' Chertoff told CNN's 'Late Edition.'
Chertoff's remarks came three days after police in England arrested about two dozen people allegedly involved in a plot to use liquid explosives to blow up as many as 10 passenger planes during flights from the United Kingdom to the United States.
That prompted an immediate ban on liquids and gels in carry-on luggage in the UK and U.S. that resulted in widespread flight cancellations and delays. (Watch why checking in bags may not keep planes safe -- 1:58)"

Boortz: Adullts earning minimum wage are incompetent

This man is a pig! There is a link at media matters to his email. Consider sending him a few thoughts. Media Matters - Boortz: Adults earning minimum wage are "incompetent", "ignorant", "stupid", "worthless," and "pathetic": "BOORTZ: I want you to think about this, folks. You know, most of the people that earn minimum wage are teenagers. They're in the job market for a short period of time, they're learning some job skills, they're learning workplace skills. Most of the people who aren't teenagers that have a minimum-wage job, it lasts about three to four months, and they're off making more money. I want you to think for think for a moment of how incompetent and stupid and worthless, how -- that's right, I used those words -- how incompetent, how ignorant, how worthless is an adult that can't earn more than the minimum wage? You have to really, really, really be a pretty pathetic human being to not be able to earn more than the human wage. Uh -- human, the minimum wage."

9/11 Panel Suspected Deception by Pentagon

9/11 Panel Suspected Deception by Pentagon: "9/11 Panel Suspected Deception by Pentagon
Allegations Brought to Inspectors General

By Dan Eggen
Washington Post Staff Writer
Wednesday, August 2, 2006; A03

Some staff members and commissioners of the Sept. 11 panel concluded that the Pentagon's initial story of how it reacted to the 2001 terrorist attacks may have been part of a deliberate effort to mislead the commission and the public rather than a reflection of the fog of events on that day, according to sources involved in the debate.
Suspicion of wrongdoing ran so deep that the 10-member commission, in a secret meeting at the end of its tenure in summer 2004, debated referring the matter to the Justice Department for criminal investigation, according to several commission sources. Staff members and some commissioners thought that e-mails and other evidence provided enough probable cause to believe that military and aviation officials violated the law by making false statements to Congress and to the commission, hoping to hide the bungled response to the hijackings, these sources said.
In the end, the panel agreed to a compromise, turning over the allegations to the inspectors general for the Defense and Transportation departments, who can make criminal referrals if they believe they are warranted, officials said.
'We to this day don't know why NORAD [the North American Aerospace Command] told us what they told us,' said Thomas H. Kean, the former New Jersey Republican governor who led the commission. 'It was just so far from the truth. . . . It's one of those loose ends that never got tied.'"

War, is it ever a good idea?

Children in Lebanon Lebanon is mostly Christian, not Muslim as our US government would like you to believe. So you have no business rationalizing this as Bush would like you to do. This is about the US exercising power over another part of the world. It has nothing to do with Israeli self-protection. That is just the myth they want you to believe.
Face it, all parents, in general, just want to raise happy, healthy children. We, as a nation, need to promote a world-wide environment that will do just that. It's not about corporations and profits, it is about peace and properity for all...an anathema to the rich, but what the world needs.

Construction work has begun near Washington on a vast germ warfare laboratory intended to help protect the US against an attack with biological weapon, but critics say the laboratory's work will violate international law and its extreme secrecy will exacerbate a biological arms race."
